I don't really know how shall I start. This is dated like two weeks ago. Initially, I want to blog it nicely/professionally so I can interest you people reading my blog and hopefully after reading and looking at the pictures I posted... some of you might want to volunteer yourself and bring fun to the kids! But I just don't know how shall blog it out to make it like it movitates people to join volounteer work in the future!
So I figured out, I shall just blog whatever comes in my mind! Haha
So right now, I am gonna update on "
Project Is"!
What is "
Project Is" all about? Its actually an one day program in a care center whereby volunteers volunteer themselves and have fun with the children there! Just play and guide the children from one station game to another lah!
And yes! I was the organiser for "
Project Is"! And why I named this project, "
Project Is"?
I am going to explain now so just bear with me a little while before we start the interesting part! And I do hope you understand what I am typing! :P
The "Is" is pronounced as "I(s)" or "I's" instead of "is". Many I = Is.
You get it anot? You get it anot??!!
The "I" represent all of the volunteers who participated and it also mean "love" since it has the same pronounciation as "ai" which means "love" in chinese.
Damn, I not very sure if I explain it well anot. But WHATEVER!
Let me introduce the creator of Ultimate Project's Creator(s)
PS: I didnt go edit the pictures so yeah...

Raine & Tong!

And that's me! Giving instructions to the children! Nervous!
Tong and Raine performed a magic show to the kids! (Though I got to admit THIS magic show is very lame and -_-")

They are going to make Tong float.

See how engrossed I am!

Raine trying to hypnotise Tong.

The children watching the magic show.

After that, it's time for the children to break into four groups whereby two volunteers which I assigned ealier on will take charge of them.
First thing first! ICE BREAKING!

While the other volunteers playing ice breaking games with the kids, I went around snapping pictures.

Lovely handicraft made by the kids!
After the ice breaking, we went straight for mass games. We played Animal Calling, Captain on Deck and one more game which I do not have the name for it! :P
It's first time experience for me to give instructions infront of so many children so I was kinda nerve cracking! And not to mention, I have to make sure they are not talking before I can start! Thanks to my lovely instructors/friends/volunteers who helped me to "slience" them so I can start.
If not I really have no idea what to do! hahaha!
Pictures of mass games!

Edwin & his "son" and "daughter"
I think it was noon time when we finished the mass games. The children have to go for wash up or lunch. I really cant remember. But we (the volunteers and myself) didnt slack around okay!
We went on to prepare for our next program which is station games. There's a total of five station. Water Collecting, Entangle + Pass it on, Number 1-50, AEIOE and Balance It.
(Phew, I still can remember all the games!)

Next up is doing handicraft which is lead by me! I teach them what to do okay! We are doing Christmas Card that day. So I told them to take color papers and all other art stuff.
Then I showed them sample of Christmas Cards I made the day before.

The kids asking me to draw for them. *smug*
I think they realised I am very good in drawing! All swarm to me fore help! Muawahahahah!!!
That day, I drew Snowman, Gingerman, Santa and Christmas Trees!
Some lovely cards.

After the craft making. Raine end the program by telling the children a story. A story of The Father and Son and The Nails.

Me debriefing the volunteers!
I would like to say THANK YOU to those volunteers who came down to help me! Thank you very much! Without your help! It wont be a success! Thank you very much! :)

Lovely kids!
WAIT! This blog post is edited TWICE! Read again if you read it before! :)
